The Set

This specially mixed tension set has a very specific function: will apport easier and relaxed playability on the normal tension trebles with the better projection, sustain and powerful sound of the high tension basses.

It's a very useful set on guitars that have the fret buzzing problem, usually the high tension basses eliminate or reduce that noise, but the normal tension trebles help on the playability and relaxed hands. 

This Cantiga Alliance Mixed Tension string set has a powerful, bright, projected and rish sound. 

The Trebles

This set has normal tension trebles that will let you do better vibratos and play with more relaxed hands.

Alliance are the legendary (the first ones) carbon trebles available for Classical Guitar, made with a denser material (than nylon or gut) that produce a bright, projected and powerful sound. Since Savarez introduced the Carbon strings for the first time in 1990, it established a breaking point on the classical guitar sound.

The Basses

The high tension bass will eliminate or reduce the annoying fret buzz noise and will sound more powerful and have better sustain than the normal tension bass set.

Cantiga is the bass set for the lovers of a deep, profound, powerful low end sound. This set is darker and less bright than the Savarez Corum and the Savarez Classic bass set.

In our own opinion, we LOVE this basses to play "explosive and powerful" music like the Brouwer's Toccata de Pasquini or the Ginastera's Sonata Op. 47.
