The name is inherited from the famous Antonio de Torres “La Leona” guitar made in 1856 and the idea of a professional high end case was born from a conversation between Qingchuan Li and Gernot Wagner, the famous German luthier, where he asked Li for a case specially made for Wagner guitars.
